Have you failed with anxiety therapy? Do you struggle with anxious thoughts that don’t go away? Have you experienced dizzy spells which lead to panic? Have you feared that you might stop breathing because your breathing becomes erratic?
These and many similar uncomfortable sensations are the reality of panic and anxiety attacks. Anxiety is part of everyday life, however some of people have more intense waves of anxiety and these are known as panic attacks. People who suffer from an attack are so filled with fear and terror that they think death is imminent.
Some people struggle with anxiety disorders for many years and usually exhaust every available solution found in books, courses and treatment programs. Actually most anxiety attack sufferers have little faith in ever relieving themselves of their condition, while many are too embarrassed to admit they may require anxiety therapy or treatment.
However if you do suffer from panic attacks or general anxiety disorders not all is lost. Barry Joe McDonagh is a former suffer of frequent panic attacks and general anxiety disorders that has developed a 100% natural approach to eliminating panic and general anxiety attacks completely.
His Panic Away course bases itself on a simple technique called the One Move Technique which gets your general anxiety levels right back down to zero without using medication or alternative therapies.
Barry mentions that there is one key factor that makes the difference between those who fully eliminate panic attacks from their lives and those who do not. He claims that this key factor is not medication or changes in lifestyle or even relaxation exercises…..its fear! Barry’s course teaches you to break the fear of having another panic attack so you are able to feel complete freedom from panic attacks.
The Panic Away course teaches you a technique that allows you to break the cycle of anxiety and return to normal everyday anxiety living. The best part of this technique is that there is no need for you to find out why you had your initial panic attack in order to get results. However it does need you to be willing to break this cycle. Are you ready to try this right now?
I have severe anxiety and I’ve been having anxiety attacks for months. I can’t take prescription pills because I’m an air traffic controller and I’ve been trying herbs (valerian, ignatia, passion flower) but nothing seems to work. And I ALWAYS have anxiety attacks when I have to speak to a group and next week and have to give a short presentation to everyone in my work and I’m petrified of having an anxiety attack. Please help me.
Anxiety help answer:
Just laugh at whatever the task is, that would be the first step, just have a laugh. Step back from the issue and see it as a minor thing you just have to do. Make a date with a friend or plan something right after so you have something to look forward to the main thing here is no matter what you do you will feel anxiety leading up to the event of speaking right?
Well it’s just like walking in late to class, you know you are late, your heart is racing, you have to get there… but everyone will be sitting down. The best thing to do in both these situations is to just forget about it. Having anxiety and going crazy over it or not going crazy isn’t going to make things better. The outcome of what you have to do will be there anyway. So instead of having anxiety just have neutrality…brush it off…don’t think about it…forget it. What will happen will happen one way or the other it’s the pre-thought that messes everybody up. The best thing to do is act like you don’t care and it will work out trust me.

If you are ready to overcome panic attacks we have a little three step approach which may be of help in overcoming those horrible sensations associated with anxiety and panic attacks. For those of you that have regular panic attacks you will be aware that it can be a very frightening experience which can onset itself any time and any where. The scenario shown in our video clip is not uncommon with up to 1 in 75 adults suffering from general anxiety disorders and panic attacks, but many are too embarrassed to disclose that they do.
We’ve compiled a three step approach towards overcoming panic attack without the need for costly anxiety therapy, medication or complete lifestyle changes. These techniques are by no means exhaustive but are completely natural and can help to prevent the onset of panic attacks.
Step 1: It’s good to talk!
Many adults who experience panic attacks do not talk about their fears or anxieties to friends or family simply because they feel that they will not understand the issues surrounding panic attacks.
Just because they cannot understand your fears it doesn’t mean that they will not be willing to listen to your concerns and issues. Talking about your condition will be the first step in overcoming your anxiety attacks and will help others around you to support you in the correct way. Keeping issues to yourself will only increase the chances of further panic attacks, not only will you increase your negative thoughts but you will be keeping friends and family in the dark. So step one is to find a few good listeners and talk to them honestly about your concerns and issues. You ready to move into step two?
Step 2: Let’s get positive!
Did you know that most panic attacks occur because of build up of everyday stresses? The first panic attack can have such a negative impact on your life that it can change daily routines, change your self confidence and basically change the way you lead your life.
Negativity breeds negativity and the more negative you are about your condition the more control it will have over your life. It’s not easy to remain positive when such a life changing event has taken grip of your life, but it can be done…..bit by bit.
Doing activities you enjoy such as sport, hobbies, socialising or even some dancing can help bring some positivity in your life and ease the onset of panic attacks. Surround yourself with family and friends who have a positive frame of mind and will support you during this phase in your life. Negative friends will only bring you down and not help your frame of mind. Keeping positive is the second part of our three step approach!
Step 3: Fight the fear!
So you’ve talked about your issues, you are keeping a positive frame of mind….now what?
Fear……fear drives panic attacks, the fear of when your next one will occur, the fear of where it will occur and the fear of the sensations that it brings. However fear fuels panic attacks and the sooner you are able to control the fear factor the sooner you will overcome panic attacks. Step three is to start overcoming your fear of panic attacks.
So there you have our three step process which can help you to overcome anxiety and panic attacks. If you are looking for ways of overcoming your condition you may want to check our post on anxiety therapy in our blog or alternative look at the Panic Away course listed below.
